IAF plane drops rocket in village, none hurt


An Indian Air Force (IAF) plane inadvertently dropped a rocket amid a training foray in Jagraon’s Sheik Daulat town on Tuesday. In any case, agriculturists working in the fields had a fortunate escape when the rocket dropped with a blast. Nobody was harmed.

Ludhiana Rural, SSP, Surjit Singh said that it was amid routine with regards to the Air Force planes from Halwara base that the rocket dropped. “It was not conveying any dangerous material, but rather a few ranchers were working in the fields when the occurrence happened. They educated the police as a misery of right around two feet was made at the spot where the rocket landed. We educated IAF authorities quickly, who at that point came and took away the rocket,” the SSP said.

A huge crowd had gathered at the spot after the incident.
